crazy, weird, UNIQUE!

God spoke tonight…

Tonight, I spoke at a local church about my testimony and did a little story telling. (I’m a story teller, not a liar.)  I love to tell stories and make people laugh.  I love most of all that those stories can glorify GOD.  Really… God spoke tonight.  God sang tonight.  I asked Him to allow my voice to be strong for Him and HE DID IT ALL.  I prayed that He give me the stories to tell.  HE DID IT.

I had actually typed up a 5 page speech to kind of go by.  I had a few stories in it and definitely verses, but I knew God would put on me what I’m supposed to say.  He allowed me to share my heart.  He blessed me by being His voice and telling a room full of women the things that HE needed them to hear.  I’m so honored He used me.  Wow, what a blessing to me!

I sounded like a croaking frog in a bucket this morning. I tried to practice my songs, but they were sounding a bit off, but I kept praying.  I felt a little scratchity in the throat, but I asked others to pray.  I knew He would use my voice no matter what it sounded like.  He spoke!

I talked about so many different things, but mainly about GOD BEING ABLE to give us the power through His Son to do the things He wants us to do.  He makes us ABLE.

This little excerpt below from my talk is what I believe He wants me to share now.  Maybe You need to find a way to read the entire Bible.  Do you need  the comfort, peace and power His word can give you?

About four years ago I decided I needed to read the Bible.  Not just pick and choose verses and stories.  I needed to read the Bible.  I got hooked up on the Daily Audio Bible where a guy reads the Bible to you every day and at the end of the year, you have gone through the whole Bible.  I’m telling you, I have grown in Christ more in the last four years than I have my entire life.  The Bible is truth.  The Bible is your guide.  The Bible is what will make you closer to YOUR GOD.  It comforts, convicts, gives you peace and sound mind.  It has example after example of things we should and/or should not do.  It equips you with the power and ability to tell others about Jesus.  You can be more ABLE and ready to serve God with His truth–the Bible–tucked under your belt.

You can find this audio Bible at dailyaudioBible.com or you can find the DAB app using your smart phone or device.  It’s easy to start listening to.  God wants you to KNOW His word.  The more you know it, the more your life will be changed by it.

I’m so glad God spoke (and sang) tonight …and I’m so glad He speaks to me all the time!

Thank You God for using me.  Amen.
