crazy, weird, UNIQUE!

Today was full of…

Today was full of disappointments.
I was shown disrespect.
I felt let down.
I felt like a failure.
I felt sad for students who don’t take others needs into consideration. (especially when those in need are the elderly in nursing homes or children in hospitals)
But I remembered…
TODAY WAS ALSO FULL OF AWESOMENESS.
I was shown respect.
I felt victory.
I felt accomplished.
I felt proud of students who stepped up and lead by serving.
I have an awesome job that I like to think I do well. There’s always room for improvement, but I ain’t half bad.
When adversity comes my way, I allow it to stop me for a few, but then I shake that mess off and MOVE FORWARD.
Today, I stopped a little more than a FEW minutes when it seemed like I was let down over and over…
But in the end, I know that there was more GOOD today than there was bad. The bad stuff may be pretty hefty, but it never out weighs the good.
I choose to focus on THE GOOD.
