Ball game? What ball game!?!? It has rained 9 days out of the last ten and our teams have been unable to play. I want my ball game!!!
I thank You God for baseball, softball and rain. I am thankful for ALL, BUT PLEASE LORD, give us some shine so we can feel the spring and watch the games.
Got this cartoon from an app called GoComics. I love opening that app to get some funny paper action. I remember my dad saving me that part of the paper ever Sunday.
I was so glad to see the sun today.
I just stood in my yard, closed my eyes (because you are not supposed to look directly into the sun—didn’t your momma tell you that!?!), turned my face to the sun and basked in its warmth and light.
I know I wrote about attitude and emotion yesterday…
And how we should always choose to be happy, but I do admit that the lack of sun makes me a bit cranky.
I battle through it and don’t let any of the mean thoughts I may have pass out my lips…
The struggle sometimes is for REAL.
THEN the sun shines and I can’t even recall anything I need to be remotely cranky about.
It’s like a super hero flying in for the victory!
It’s a bird, it’s a plane,
GOD’S GIFT OF SUNLIGHT!
I took this pic of my daughter Morgan and her friend Maverick. His dad and I go way back–we graduated high school together– he invited us to come enjoy their pool. We had a good time! It was a beautiful day. The sun was in super force which makes me extra powered and the wind was breezy.
After I snapped it, I thought this pic looks so fun and bright and full of joy. This is how SUMMER should be!
Have you captured any truly summer moments?
Even though our summer break is almost half over, I hope for many more moments like these to record.
I continue to be fascinated with the sky. This weekend, God has truly created some amazing sites using big fluffy clouds and His light. I am comforted by His creation which is only one more thing to confirm to me that HE IS ALIVE!
This evening’s sky:
Pictures of the awesome sky today…
I call this one MEET AT THE POLE:
Here’s a vintage look:

And here’s the sun!
It started to clear up this afternoon. First, the blue spread across the sky … And then… I SAW THE SUN! It was a little later when I thought about taking a picture, but the sun was still and maybe even MORE beautiful…
The sun illuminated the golden trees in our yard…
We got to be in the yard for a little while without rain! The kids and dog were all smiles…
Today was a stormy day. I believe the sun will come out tomorrow…
