We got to see the Kingdom Heirs last week at Dollywood. They were seriously my favorite. Here is the song I absolutely fell in love. It perfectly lists things I’m so thankful for!
SOOOOOOOOO MANY REASONS TO BE THANKFUL!
For the times YOU kept me safe and sound…
For drying my tears…
Keeping me steady…
PEACE LIKE A RIVER…
For peace like a river…
The OLD RUGGED CROSS…
setting me free…
supplying my need…
I thank YOU
Had a blast today going to find crafting things at Michaels with the friends we are visiting.
Here’s one of my creations:
I started with a project for a friend from church:
An apron with matching chef’s hat for their grand daughter …so cute!
As it was drying I worked on a canvas that I had already designed a background on—
I made my little boy a plaque for his room that we are going to give him for Christmas–
Created a tile for another Christmas present–
And last…started working on some ornaments.
I thank God for the time and the projects that keep me close to Him.
Here are some pieces I worked on today. All of them are works in progress. I have a few more things to do to all of them.
It’s been a great Labor Day!
The cross is empty… He is risen!!! Happy Easter!!!
I love creating. I’m pretty sure I’ve posted that before. Haha!
This is the cross that I made for my bestie Reagan. I like to create random things, but when I have someone in mind while I’m doing it–it makes it even more fun.
Worked in the sketchbook some tonight thinking about the fact that Easter is coming. Getting ready to commemorate this event which saved us all from hell is something we should never take lightly.
My crazy cross design has so many meanings. The things Jesus had to go through even before the cross were insane. They were chaotic and horrible. The cross is a symbol of death and what on lookers thought as defeat. We know, as believers, it’s a symbol of salvation, new life and the total opposite of defeat for us! Thank You Jesus!
