Below are my last two layouts for my summer document life journal. The bird theme has been my fave so far. I’m so glad I was introduced to this neat way of documenting at the workshop I went to at the beginning of my summer. It combines scrapbooking, journaling, sketching, making pretty stuff, quotes, etc…and I LOVE IT! It’s art, right!?! That is why I LOVE IT!
I’m taking a journaling class on strathmoreartist.com/artist-studio/. Here are a couple of layered pages with quotes. There’s so many possible combinations using the techniques I’m learning about.
I love to learn!
So, the picture above is what I see looking down the boat. I’m so blessed to have such a great family. We went to the lake today to go fishing. It was nice and bright and a bit breezy so we didn’t sweat like crazy. The stink bait was smelly and working well. Mason was the big catcher of the day. Morgan finally caught one by herself and it was a keeper! It was a great family outing.
Looking out the side of the boat, below is what I saw and sketched. That’s right, I had my sketchbook–not my fishing pole!
